All parents want to give their children happy childhoods, but somewhere in between, they make a wrong turn and take their kids into chaos instead. I’ve seen many parents make the same mistakes, and by the time they realize it, it’s too late. Their kids are already self-destructing.
They ask the same questions: Why is my teenager acting out? Why don’t they listen to me? Why are they talking back and rebelling? Why are they getting poor grades, staying out late, drinking, doing drugs, or committing crime and violence?
This outcome could have been easily avoided if they'd known which route would lead them there and which one wouldn’t. Many parents take the same route and end up at the same destination: chaos. It’s a full house over there. They’re all packed together, living in misery and despair.
Meanwhile, where they intended to take their kids is just about empty. I call this place a Great Way of Life. It’s the opposite of chaos. Over there, people are happy, confident, positive, healthy, and peaceful. Everyone is doing wonderful things. So why isn’t it packed? There’s practically no one there!
If only there were a way to make it easier for parents to find. That’s why I created End Abuse With You: 20-Year Parenting to help new parents prevent making those very same mistakes. I take them down a different route—where chaos doesn’t exist.
